NDP3 Speech Builder v2 – create and share targeted
colourful materials and engage children in therapy
NDP3 Speech Builder v2 has been designed to work on all laptops, desktops and tablets – Windows, Mac, Chrome and Linux. The first release in October 2026 will be for laptops and desktops. A second release for iPads and other devices will follow.
Just like the original Speech Builder, Version 2 lets speech and language professionals, assistants, teachers, parents and children create and work with therapy worksheets, cards, stickers, activities and games.
It has been designed both as an accessible tool for the therapist and a means to engage children in the creation of materials and help them focus on therapy.
Speech Builder was created to support the strategies and therapy techniques of NDP3 in dealing with severe speech disorders, but can equally be used at other levels to provide independent planned and ad-hoc treatment all the way through to connected speech.
Images and templates can be coloured in on the screen using a very simple paintbrush – just click a colour and click the image. Images can be freely moved around, enlarged, shrunk, distorted, rotated and duplicate.
The software includes the complete set of NDP3 sequencing, transition, grid and cards templates.

NDP3 Speech Builder v2 includes the complete library of 750 images from NDP3. It also includes a full set of 43 Jolly Phonics phoneme illustrations. The entire database of images can be searched by title, key sounds, phonetics and word or phrase type, so it’s easy find exactly the right pictures.
Text can be added in single lines and paragraphs, in a range of styles, including phonetic characters, using a simple palette.
Completed NDP3 Projects can be used on-screen or printed to any standard printer.
NDP3 Therapy Cards are created using 750 pictures (previously 478) from the NDP3 image library.
Using a blank Therapy Cards template, pictures are added and coloured by the therapist or child.
The Project is then printed onto standard paper and cut out or onto our pre-perforated 8-card sheet and split by hand into individual cards.
We currently have sheets of 8 cards per page (4×2 – A7 size). Sheets for 2×2 (4) and 1×2 (2) cards will be available in 2027.
